Why Choose Our Services?

• Expert Team:

Our assessments are conducted by a multidisciplinary team of qualified professionals, including clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists, who specialize in neurodevelopmental conditions in children and adolescents.

• Comprehensive Evaluation:

We use a range of evidence-based tools, including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 (ADOS-2), Social Communication Questionnaire (SCQ), Autism Spectrum Quotient (AQ), QB Test, and Camouflaging Autistic Traits Questionnaire (CAT-Q), to evaluate social communication, behavior, and developmental milestones.

• Tailored Support:

Following the assessment, you will receive a detailed report with personalized strategies to support your child’s development, communication, social interaction, and emotional well-being.

• Holistic Approach:

We consider the possibility of co-occurring conditions, such as ADHD, to provide a complete understanding of your child’s needs.

The Assessment Process

Our assessment process for children and adolescents is thorough and child-friendly, ensuring that each step is as comfortable as possible for your family.

1

Initial Screening

Begin with a brief screening to determine if a full assessment is appropriate. This may include a short questionnaire or an initial consultation with parents or guardians to discuss your concerns.

2

Meeting Your Specialist Team

If a full assessment is recommended, your child will be referred to our expert team, which may include clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists experienced in pediatric neurodevelopmental conditions.

3

Gathering Information

We will conduct detailed clinical interviews with you and your child (if age-appropriate), and may request input from teachers or other caregivers to gain a comprehensive understanding of your child’s development and behavior.

4

Diagnostic Tools & Testing

To ensure an accurate evaluation, we use gold-standard, evidence-based tools tailored for children and adolescents, including:

  • ADOS-2 – An observational tool to assess social interaction, communication, and behavior.

  • SCQ – A questionnaire to screen for autism spectrum disorders.

  • AQ –  A tool to measure the degree of autistic traits.

  • QB Test – For assessing attention and impulsivity, helpful in identifying co-occurring ADHD.

  • CAT-Q – To understand if your child is masking or camouflaging autistic traits, particularly relevant for adolescents.

5

Team-Based Diagnostic Review

Our clinicians collaborate to review all gathered information, ensuring a well-rounded diagnosis that considers all aspects of your child’s presentation, including ruling out other conditions like anxiety or intellectual disabilities.

6

Feedback & Personalised Report

You will receive a detailed feedback session where we explain the findings and provide recommendations. A comprehensive written report will also be provided, including:

  • Diagnosis (if applicable)

  • Summary of assessment findings

  • Personalized strategies and support options for your child

Addressing Co-occurrence

Autism and ADHD often co-occur, particularly in children and adolescents, which can complicate diagnosis. Our assessments are designed to identify overlapping symptoms, ensuring a holistic understanding of your child’s needs, especially for those who may mask traits, such as girls or adolescents.
